Mitchell Lalonde

President and Outside Sales

Mitchell Lalonde is the President of Texas Pride Custom Floors and leads outside sales for both residential and commercial flooring projects. With more than 25 years in the flooring industry, Mitchell brings deep product knowledge, practical problem-solving, and a customer-first approach to every consultation. 

After starting his career in multi-family flooring replacement and spending years building experience across the industry, Mitchell opened Texas Pride Custom Floors in 2016 with a clear goal: to give homeowners and business owners a better flooring experience built around trust, communication, and the right solution for their space. 

Mitchell specializes in helping clients navigate flooring decisions that can often feel overwhelming. From children, pets, high-traffic areas, moisture concerns, and design preferences to long-term value and project scope, he helps customers understand what will work best structurally, aesthetically, and practically for their home or business.

While he has experience across hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, tile, carpet, laminate, commercial flooring, and whole-home projects, Mitchell still has a special appreciation for wood flooring and carpet. He enjoys helping homeowners compare materials in person, take samples home, and make a decision only when they feel confident—not rushed.

What Mitchell enjoys most is seeing a completed project come to life. He believes flooring creates a lasting emotional impact in a home, and his goal is to make sure that feeling is one of excitement and confidence, never regret.

When he is not helping customers throughout Leander, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Georgetown, Lakeway, Westlake, and Central Texas, Mitchell enjoys playing bass in local country bands alongside his adult son, who plays drums. He also enjoys golf, fishing, hunting, and traveling with family.

Cody

General Manager

As General Manager at Texas Pride Custom Floors, Cody helps keep every part of a flooring project moving smoothly—from the first showroom conversation to product ordering, vendor coordination, delivery logistics, and final preparation for installation.

With about five years of experience in the flooring industry, Cody has developed strong knowledge across hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, laminate, tile, carpet, and other flooring systems. He especially enjoys helping homeowners understand more than just how a floor looks. From product construction and durability to the right application, installation methods, and materials needed for a lasting result, Cody helps customers make confident decisions for their home.

Many homeowners walk into the showroom knowing they want new flooring but are unsure where to begin. Cody takes time to learn about the home, current flooring, pets, children, lifestyle, design goals, and long-term needs before helping narrow down the options. His goal is not simply to point out colors—it is to explain why a certain product may perform better for a customer’s specific space.

Cody believes flooring is a major investment and that customers deserve to understand what they are purchasing rather than making a decision based on price alone. He is known for his practical, educational approach and for helping customers feel more confident throughout the process.

What Cody enjoys most is helping turn a problem into a finished space that homeowners truly love—from the “before” stage to the final transformation.

Cody works with homeowners throughout Leander, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Georgetown, and surrounding Central Texas communities. Outside of the showroom, he enjoys playing drums in two bands, golfing with his dad, and spending time with family. He is also a veteran.

His personal favorite flooring combination is wide-plank, natural-tone European oak engineered hardwood paired with soft, comfortable carpet in bedrooms—a look that feels elevated, timeless, and right at home in Central Texas.
